1st Pudong Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Forum


To promote the research on and the application of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy in Pudong area and the greater Shanghai region, ShanghaiTech University will hold the 1st Pudong Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Forum on campus on Nov 12, 2022.


This forum will be a one-day, regional symposium, organized by School of Life Science and Technology, School of Physical Science and Technology, and iHuman Institute of ShanghaiTech, and co-organized by National Center for Protein Science (Shanghai) (NCPSS). It is also co-organized by International Society of Magnetic Resonance (ISMAR).


ShanghaiTech and NCPSS together host a line-up of a dozen advanced NMR spectrometers spanning from 900 MHz (second highest field in China) to 400 MHz, including both liquid-state and solid-state systems, which strongly supports academic and industrial research in chemical, physical, biological, biomedical and material science as well as drug discovery, and hence forms a rapidly growing MR community. The forum is to provide a platform for NMR scholars, particularly younger scientists and students in the region, to closely interact with each other and regularly exchange latest research discovery and future technical or collaborative development of magnetic resonance, as well as exploring career advancement in the fields.

    为促进上海浦东及周边地区核磁共振波谱学学术和技术交流,上科大生命科学与技术学院、物质科学与技术学院与iHuman研究所和国家蛋白质科学中心(上海)计划于2022年11月12日在上科大学人字楼一楼报告厅联合举办第一届浦东核磁论坛(Pudong NMR Forum),会期一天。会议由上科大主办,国际核磁共振学会(International Society of Magnetic Resonance, ISMAR)合办。欢迎从事核磁共振波谱研究的专家学者、技术人员以及学生积极参加。
